Bali Is World’s Top 2 Best Island
Bali was recently named one of the world’s best island and came in second after Equador’s Galapagos in the U.S Travel+Leisure Magazine’s 2015 List of the 10 Best Islands In The World.
Winners of the prestigious List were selected based on an online voting process conducted by the magazine’s 4.8 million readers. Bali locked in a close score of 88.98 after Galapagos’s 90.82, followed by Maldives at 88.53 and Tasmania at 88.32.
With this proud achievement, Indonesia’s Minister of Tourism, Arief Yahya expressed his delight and declared his pride for Bali for being selected as one of the world’s best islands. He attributed the win to Indonesia’s breathtaking natural beauty and said, “We are confident that Bali provides a great setting for all kinds of tourist activities, such as diving and snorkeling. With Indonesia’s natural beauty, we can outclass even Galapagos, especially with our two Rajaampat and Pulau Komodo tourist destinations."
